Energy
The Equinix IBX centers are specifically designed to provide a robust energy infrastructure of the highest level of reliability. Our centers provide a minimum N +1 redundancy for each IBX supply system, providing the operating time without interruption most reliable in our industry. Our inverters avoid voltage fluctuations while redundant backup generators are a source of additional energy that can power the data center in case of power failure.
Cooling
While energy requirements and cooling continue to rise, the cooling system of Equinix is a key feature that distinguishes them from other centers IBX datacentres. Each IBX center is fully equipped with air conditioning systems specific to optimize the operating conditions of equipment and minimize downtime due to equipment failure. The air conditioning system keeps the air flow, temperature and humidity to the desired level.
Detection and fire suppression
The Equinix IBX centers are equipped with detection systems and fire extinguishing most sophisticated in order to limit the risk of damage. Main characteristics of the detection system and fire suppression:
* Sprinklers, divided into several zones, with detection devices. Double trigger alarms (heat and / or smoke).
* The water enters the system of fire extinguishing if two alarms are triggered in a combination of predefined areas and not dispersed so that the sprinkler head breaks or background.
* Water will be spread only through specific nozzles, thus limiting the risk of damage caused by spraying.
Fight against flooding
The Equinix IBX centers are equipped with systems to protect against flooding below to avoid exposing the equipment they are home to water damage:
o Monitors sealing on the exterior walls.
o No rooms devoted to pumping.
o Drainage systems / evacuation.
o Humidity sensors.
Earthquakes
Within Equinix IBX centers, structural systems meet or exceed seismic design requirements of local building codes for seismic resistance to lateral forces. Equipment and non-carriers, including "firms" are seated and secured.

Fiber optic connected to our server with 100 MB guaranteed symmetrical.
